Sustainable transport in Scotland needs a positive vision
An SDC Scotland project will explore ways to reduce emissions from the transport sector through a new approach to investment. The focus will be on encouraging behaviour change, health outcomes and alternative transport models.

Slow progress on delivering sustainability
Policy frameworks are changing but there is little evidence that outcomes have changed yet as a result of the Governments objective of ‘creating a more successful country, with opportunities for all of Scotland to flourish, through increasing sustainable growth’. This is one of the main conclusions in a recent SDC survey. There is concern that the Scottish Government has taken ‘sustainable’ out of sustainable growth.

CCF learning programme roll out
A programme of workshops and networking events across Scotland is being rolled out to communities who want to cut their carbon emissions. The events offer people a chance to come along and meet other community projects, and share experiences while developing the skills and knowledge to enhance their project.

Testing to start on the Good Corporate Citizenship Assessment Model for NHS Scotland
The first draft of the Good Corporate Citizenship Assessment Model (GCCAM) for NHS Scotland will shortly be available for testing. User testing workshops will be held for the two pilot boards NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and NHS Grampian.
