| Summary: |  In the run up to the Earth Summit 2012 (Rio+20), the UN is currently conducting a stocktaking exercise on experiences, success factors, challenges and risks with regard to the objective and themes of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development https://www.uncsd2012.org/. The objective of the Conference is to secure renewed political commitment for sustainable development, and will focus on the themes of green economy in the context of sustainable development and poverty eradication; and institutional frameworks for sustainable development. |
