Summary: | The Sustainable Consumption Roundtable commissioned Opinion Leader Research to conduct a major deliberative event looking at sustainable consumption. The aims of the forum were: • To explore views and attitudes towards potential interventions • To understand current consumer aspirations • To provide insights that can shape and influence future policy-making The event took the form of a Consumer Forum with 110 people recruited from the Manchester area to ensure 100 participants on the day. People were recruited to reflect the demographics of the area. The event was conducted in Manchester on 6th and 7th October, 2005 and 105 participants took part in the actual event. |
