| Recommendations: | The international impact resulting from importing construction products is of growing significance and should be included in the strategy. Whole life costing is an essential tool to ensure that short- and long-term social, environmental and economic costs and benefits are taken into account in appraising options. The strategy should be re-formulated to be much more coherent and relate directly to the outcomes to be delivered by the industry over the next 5 to 15 years, |
